UVC LLC Founder featured on ABC News

The ABC local news affiliate serving Reno, NV and its surrounding areas recently featured UVC LLC Founder and CopperDisinfector Inventor, Brad Hollander, in a segment for their 11:00pm news.
Evening Anchor Noah Bond with KOLO-TV visited the Carson Valley Swim Center, where Hollander installed CopperDisinfector on several high-touch surfaces free of charge as part of his UV Copper Project. The initiative provides financial assistance through community partnerships, crowdfunding and other means for certain businesses looking to access this green, chemical-free, EPA-approved technology.
Starting at just $20 per door handle, Bond highlighted CopperDisinfector’s low cost, while the swim center’s director spoke about the importance of this added layer of protection for the hundreds of people who use the facility daily.
“Here in Minden and Gardnerville, all of Douglas County and especially this facility, we’ve always been open to trying new things, especially if it’s going to be able to improve our function of the facility,” said Carson Valley Swim Center Director, Shannon Harris.
“When an organism falls on the copper surface the natural copper reaction causes that germ to explode and die on contact,” said Hollander.
